Looking at CSGB Rewards (21 May 2016)
Hey guys, after a long period of absence, the Cross-server Guild Battle arrives again on the 21st of May and seems to follow all the same old rules and rewards. This is both good and bad. The good thing is that someone woke up over at the Wartune Team, but the bad news is that they did not bother to adapt the event to the current game reality which is very different than long ago when CSGB was designed.
In this post we are going to look at the rewards and see what is useless and what might still be useful to some extend.
Cross-server Guild Battle Timings
Firstly, quickly about the hours:
Sign up period:
Between 00:00 May 18th and 23:30 on May 20th.
Preliminaries:
5/21/2016 from 20:30 – 21:30
5/28/2016 from 20:30 – 21:30
6/04/2016 from 20:30 – 21:30
6/11/2016 from 20:30 – 21:30
Finals:
6/18/2016 from 20:30 – 21:30
6/25/2016 from 20:30 – 21:30

Looking at CSGB Rewards

| Vulcan’s Hammer | 100 | Usually there is never a lack of Vulcan Hammers so this is a dumb item to have in the shop. Lack of game knowledge. |
| Level 40 Legendary Stone Pack | 15 | Absolutely ridiculous especially after the introduction of Archaeology. |
| Level 50 Legendary Stone Pack | 50 | Absolutely ridiculous especially after the introduction of Archaeology. |
| Level 60 Legendary Stone Pack | 80 | Absolutely ridiculous especially after the introduction of Archaeology. |
| Level 70 Legendary Stone Pack | 100 | Absolutely ridiculous especially after the introduction of Archaeology. |
| Level 80 Legendary Stone Pack | 200 | Absolutely ridiculous especially after the introduction of Archaeology. |
| Blue Crystaloid | 20 | One of the few useful items in the shop, but with 2000 King’s Seals you can only buy 100, which is not even enough to enchant one single equipment piece. |
| Snow Yak Card | 5000 | Mounts are mostly always interesting if you have the quantities to buy them. |
| Sack of Gold | 100 | Another ridiculous leftover from old years. 100k gold has no meaning in the current Wartune reality. |
| Sack of Kyanite | 100 | Another ridiculous leftover from old years. If you need kyanite get significantly more with 50 Nickels. |

Hardly seems worth the effort it takes to battle for up to an hour for such measly rewards. If it were up to me, wouldn’t bother with it.

rewards are horribles
If they added a 0 to the king seals you got, then it would be fine. But the rewards as is are terrible. Not worth it at all. 7 fights at 30 minutes a piece (or more) for a couple cores or a mount card. Really?!
This problem exists in all the cross-server events. The rewards have not been updated since they first started and do not reflect what players need based on current player levels. Even if they added one newer item it might be worth doing, but getting a few extra Fashion Cores are hardly worth the effort!
can recycle snow yak card?
I believe it will not even let you buy it to recycle.
it is recyclable. i have done it last 3 csgb.
R2’s lack of updates to things like this is absurd. Lazy
For R2 to change events, people have to stop participating in them.
If you find chaos war just another whale game, then stop showing up
If you find steel war the dumbest event, dont show up.
If you find class war dumb, dont participate.
As long as you do these events, R2 will keep spinning them out every 4 weeks, with no expectation of change or improved rewards.

Our guild in servers are not competing.
These events are a waste of time with no improvement to reward.
Whats the point in doing this event?
Well personaly, as a free player i find that every little bit counts. But i totally suport the idea of a Mass not showing up. At least till they reviewd the freaking rewards. My time zone for csgb time is at 01:30 AM. Not worth the sleep lost. If we all stick together we might make R2 to hear our voices. Cheers everyone
I’m betting they did this on purpose and shop items will change next cross server event.
When do King Seal expire? If you would please
about 3-4 days after the end of the Finals, but don’t wait until last moment, you can never trust if some mistake happens, so use them i’d say latest right after the Finals
