[Patch 6.1] New Divine Altar

In Wartune Patch 6.1, Divine Altar gets revamped into something more similar to Guild Beast. Band together with your guild members to defeat a series of bosses and get many Fang of Fear in return!

Entry and Unlock Requirements

Divine Altar Entry: Guild —> Guild Event —> Divine Altar

Note: Divine Altar will start 5 minutes after the Guild Leader unlocks it. Players can enter the Divine Altar ahead of time. Divine Altar lasts 30 minutes each time.

There are two requirements for unlocking Divine Altar:

1) Only Guild Leaders can unlock Divine Altar.

2) Unlocking Divine Altar consumes 50, 000 Guild Wealth, the equvalent of 50M Gold.

(Note: Guild Wealth is donated by all guild members.)

Gameplay

When the event starts, players can choose which layer they want to attack. The first layer is inhabited by minions, and the second layer by BOSSes (Elia note: “layer” is their wording, basically there are two floors).

First Layer (Minion Layer):

The number of minions will affect player attack and BOSS damage.

  • There is a positive correlation between BOSS damage and the number of minions:
At the beginning, 20 minions exist on the first layer. Up to 300 minions may exist. 20 minions will appear every 2 minutes. When the number of minions hits 40, BOSS damage will increase by 200%. When the number hits 220, BOSS damage will increase by 2000% (maximum BOSS damage boost).

  • There is a positive correlation between the number of minions players defeat and player attack:
While players are fighting minions, all Divine Altar participants will receive blessings. For every 20 minions killed, the Goddess’ Blessing EXP will increase a certain amount causing all participants to gain a positive effect.
When 20 minions are killed, player attack increases by 15%; when 200 minions are killed, player attack bonus is maxed out, increasing by 150%.

Second Layer (BOSS Layer):

There are 8 BOSSes. Players need to defeat the eight BOSSes one by one. When all BOSSes are defeated or when time runs out, players will exit Divine Altar.

BOSS battle mode in Divine Altar is similar to that in World BOSS. All players work together to deal damage to the BOSS. BOSS HP won’t recover. For every BOSS defeated, players will receive a certain amount of Fang of Fear. The player to deal the last blow will receive an extra 50% the Fang of Fear amount. Each successive BOSS will offer more rewards.

Notes

  • Battles on minion and BOSS layers are PvE (solo) mode. A guild member will teleport to a nearby revive point when defeated.
  • Fang of Fear can be used in Adv. Guild Shop to buy advanced items.
  • Divine Altar can only be unlocked once and reset at midnight every day.

  1. what was the skill where the wedding ring would normally be?

    • It’s just a different marriage skill that becomes available for use as you level up your wedding ring. I could change it back to what we usually use. See the posts on marriage changes.

  2. very horrible altar and patch 6.1 will be a very horrible patch. we’ll lose many players.

    • Horrible? This is a vast improvement for DA, which is utterly worthless for higher level players. We only do it for Devotion. Getting Fangs makes it worthwhile!

    • Someone will never be satisfied………

      • now i put the my name dear falk. old DA was wonderfull but rewards was horribles. not was better start altar from level 1 and put the rewards fang fear in base of level we reach? this new version is too similar to games that i’ve stopped of play because the minions was statics and we can tell the new altar guild beast 2….

  3. rewards are?

    • Fang of Fear

      • The rewards are such shit, you would need to be in a guild of more than 100 people to even run it.

      • I’m in a guild of 2. Yes 2 people. And for that, it’s bullshit, we can do Guild Beast Lvl 4 easily. Divine Altar is a group effort and should be placed as a Dungeon and NOT as a guild event. It’s rewards are shit!!!!

  4. 0the only bad apart about the update is the fact they postponed the update after the problem they encountered with the br the sub eud and slyph n it were going to affect player br but after they realized how wide the br’s would range they took it out and postponed update by 4 days everything else more the most ;part are all good as long as not changed to much from earlier statements they have made

  5. How long does it take? I don’t want to spend 30 minutes on the thing. Can a modest sized guild kill all 8 before 30 minutes?
