Wartune Game Update – LIST – JAN 2016

Hey guys, as some of you might already know there is a sizable game update in Wartune in January 2016. The arrival date has been announced (but not all servers): 18th of January at 4:00 AM EST(1:00 AM PST, 9:00 AM GMT, and 5:00 PM GMT +8).

First select servers will be loaded with the update and few days or 1 week later all the servers will receive the update. The selected servers are:

Wartune Game Update – List of Changes

Here is the list of changes in the upcoming game update (patch 5.5 I believe). We will post more information and videos over time for all these changes:

1. Added a new feature: Archaeology

2. Added a second Class Advancement system: Classes may be knighted and get Knighthood Equipment.

3. Added a Homestead system.

4. Added a new Eudaemon: Flying Rabbit

5. Attributes (Intensity, Tenacity, Influence, RES Reduction, Resistance, Penetration) that did not count towards Battle Rating are now calculated in Battle Rating. Consequently, players will find their Battle Rating soar after the update.

6. City Buildings have been revamped.

7. The hot spot in Cloud City has been enlarged. Previously, players who leveled up too fast would often find some features had gone missing. Thus, some of the beginner quests have been simplified to avoid such issues.

8. World BOSS, Guild Chamber and Divine Altar buffs can no longer be purchased.

9. Total damage rewards for World BOSS have been removed.

10. Daily couple quests have been removed.

11. Bounty Target Rankings have been removed.

12. Battle Rating requirements are no longer needed when signing up for Guild Battle or joining the Steel War.

13. Lost Treasure has been removed from the game.

14. Master Treasure Thief has been removed from the game.

15. Quests to get Sylphs have been simplified in that players no longer have to collect Sylph Essence. Players will obtain 4 Sylphs (Wind, Water, Fire, Electro) upon completing the required sylph quests.

16. The Dragon Soul quests for class advancement have been removed.

17. Many more Crystaloids have been added to Solo Dungeon (Hero Mode) rewards.

18. Skill effects for the advanced guild skill ‘Demonic Region’ have been changed to “Guild BOSS Battle Attributes +1%.”

19. Players are now allowed to input a number in the (Sylph) Upgrade and (Sylph) Enchant panel which means they can decide how many times they want to upgrade/enchant their Sylphs at a time. (Similar to the feature in the Mount panel.)

20. After class advancement when a player switches a set of skills, corresponding runes will also change.

21. After upgrading, a character’s gear enchantment, holy forge and refining levels as well as gems will be kept.

22. Character, Sylph and Eudaemon equipment may now be upgraded even if they have Gems socketed in them.

23. The highest refining grade for Sylph Equipment has been changed from [10 stars] to [100 stars].

24. Optimized game loading. A lot of people will be looking forward to this one if it indeed makes a difference in lag.

  1. Is that commonly called “black equipment” or … ?

    • Yeah it will be

      • No it will not.
        Dark-gold or black equipment have higher base stats than knighthood equipment, so they are not same.
        Not to mention that dark-gold equipment require different resources.
        Maybe we just skipped chinese knighthood equipment, maybe china never had it, i do not know for sure.

    well finally they removed some stuff from the game. it is too full of stuff to do every day…don’t have time.

    • +1 here.
      Treasure was obsolete as soon as dimensions started giving you a truckload of shards.
      But archaeology… Same old running in the wilds, for a some title. But BR is BR, not gonna whine too much.

  3. Official date for release is January 25th, 2016. (This is for ALL servers)

    • a strange day for do a patch. usually are to thursday and few times on wednesday

  4. Any one know about the Yannick quest? As he has gone from the main screen can only think they talking about Guild Beast guy now….. Mystic Dragon Mountain ( Guild Beast one can only assume)

  6. On #5, influence and penetration have always added to our Battle Rating. It is a 1:1 ratio. If you didn’t notice, your Battle Rating always goes up by exactly 100 when you upgrade the Influence section of Wheel of Fate. Maybe they changed the formula, but influence and penetration have always affected our Battle Rating, albeit in a minuscule way.

    • Also, #18 has already been applied (my server has not received the patch yet).

  7. Knighthood class advancement has different skills. And skill set is based on your tattoos (do some degree). This is huge. This can completely change the combat as it was with implementation of sylphs. Not to mention that new talents require balens for development.

  8. Total damage rewards for World BOSS have been removed

    Can someone explain it a bit more?

    • that’s either the bonus damage that everyone gets based on top player damage dealt or the rewards sent by mail for top players

    • It’s the “World Boss Award: Warrior Prize” that was sent out in email to those who broke the cutoffs in damage dealt. (I think it was .03, .05 and .10) Now only the top 10 in each class receive the “World Boss Award: Apollo Prize” via mail.

  9. I’m very nervous about the skills being replaced. I’ve grown rather fond of sunt.. In fact, its why my build has so many hpts, heh.

  10. Wish they would add more campaigns for even after you reach level 80 the campaigns would be great to maybe get random drops that u obly get rarely etc, maybe add a pvp system in the wilds that would be fun to just attack who u like inb the wilds just a thought

  11. With this “Lost Tresure” gone, can we still use maps in inventory or are you unable to open them?


  13. How are the white sylphs now stronger than green sylphs its weird

    • depends how much sepulcrum you use on them and which sylph equipment quality and sylph gems are equipped on the sylph, not only color (which depends from mahra used).
