Correct Order for Moon Guardian & Just Road

Hi everyone! In this short blog post I want to highlight an error that I have seen a number of players make with their Moon Guardian and Just Road Titans in Wartune.

I usually notice this mistake in the Team Arena and/or other PvP battle when I check the Titan setups of enemy players. And since I am sometimes AFK and sometimes not bothering to check the Titans I assume that more players have this mistake if I noticed it on several.

What is the mistake?

The mistake has to do with the order of casting, i.e. which one is used first and which the second.

Here you see the wrong order:

The reason this is wrong (or not ideal) is because the player is casting first the 40% shield (Moon Guardian) which is a percentage based on the maximum player health and after this the player is casting the increase in HP and maximum Health (Just Road Titan).

The Correct Order

The correct way is to first increase your maximum health and after that cast the Moon Guardian (does not have to be immediately – as long as you do it within the 3 turns it’s OK).

Because casting the shield after the temporary HP increase actually basis the shield strength on the new temporary value even if on the following turn the health reverts back to “normal”. The shield’s strength will remain at the higher level and will not drop if Just Road expires.
