Hi Everyone! I am doing article series on Wartune’s Cuties with 1 profile per Cutie to help show and discuss everything about each one in one dedicated post. This article focuses on THE SPIRINGAR’S SHIELD.

SKILLS

• Skill 1: single random damage (max 240% magic)
• Skill 2: 33% chance to reflect damage (max 280% with ceiling 600k for 3 turns) (stronger version of Undead Crusader)
• Skill 3: creates a shield on the entire party (max 20% of his Max HP for 3 turns) (better version of Undead Crusader)

SUPPORT / ROLE

PVP Support Ability

• Judgement: Only for special case
• Spiringar’s Shield has 1 powerful shield ability which can absorb a lot of damage for the player. However, the Undead Gladiator Cutie will heal more, so this would have a very specific usage, i.e. if the player, for whatever reason, needs to put shields.

If 4v4 Cuties Arena exists

• Judgement: Yes.
• Spiringar’s Shield does not have an AOE but it has the best stats, a powerful shield for the whole team and can reflect a lot of damage back on the enemy.

Demon Continent (Goddesses):

• Judgement (1v4 MOB fights): Not good vs 4 mobs. He has no AOE or damage support.
• Judgement (1v3 –> 1v1 BOSS fights): The Undead Gladiator Cutie would be a better healing choice as it has more heals than the Spiringar’s Shield shielding.

Cutie Expedition:

• Judgement (1v1 boss fight): YES. Spiringar’s Shield can increase the survivability with his shielding and be a solid partner with his very strong stats and reflecting damage back on the boss.

PROS

• The best stats.
• A very powerful shield for the whole team.
• A solid reflection of damage.

CONS

• Only 1 skill does damage.
• No AOE.

COSMOS JUDGEMENT

Spiringar’s Shield is a very interesting Cutie. He has the best stats from all the Cuties which means whatever he does will be further strenghened by stats and increase his chances to survive. Next, he has a very powerful ability to shield the entire team. It is not as powerful as the Moon Titan but imagine having a “weak” Moon Titan on regular basis for the whole team. His damage reflection can further support, but is not of primary importance.

Therefore, I would say that Spiringar’s Shield is a very solid Cutie, however, for healing I’d still go for the  Undead Gladiator and for damage output or team support I also cannot put him on top. So I can only recommend Wartune players to consider picking this Cutie for very specific cases where we may need shields more than anything else.
