Preparing for Wartune Patch 9.0

Hey Everyone! In this post I talk about several topics in preparation to the upcoming Wartune Patch 9.0, which is expected to arrive to all the “normal” servers on Thursday, the 15th of August.

Path to Redemption

Something somewhat important is that all players should try to finish with all 3 stages of Path to Redemption before the Wartune Patch 9.0 arrives on Thursday. That was also the advice of the ProfCity Wartune Team. I think the reason behind this advice is because the rewards are changing as I already posted about, so the below picture (current rewards) is no longer going to exist.

Then once the patch is installed, it seems (i am hoping) that we will be able to do Path to Redemption again but no longer for these items, but for the new items.

Tara NM

For players who have been skipping Tara and Nara (for good reasons):

There is now going to be Tara Nightmare, so make sure to do that to get the new Patch 9.0 rewards. I think you can still continue to skip Nara, but Tara NM we will have to do from now on until we have all the items we need.

I would also not do Tara Normal before the Patch because we don’t know if you will get your weekly point reset, so keep your Tara attempt for the Wartune Patch 9.0 to be on the save side.

Class Advancement

Make sure to follow the Main Quests and get the new Class Advancement done (called Peerage). You need that in order to get the new items of Patch 9.0!

New Location

Apart from the new dungeons located in the “normal” place, i.e. Hall of Heroes, there is now yet another new location of something we have to do outside in the Cloud City. It’s at the bottom right, a short walk down from the current location of Path to Redemption (Road to Revenge). Here is a “energy based” activity whereby you re-gain “energy” every hour, so make sure to spend it so it does not get stuck on the maximum.

BG Timing

The BG timing has changed so if you are only online for a short time and you see BG available jump inside for a second to get the +10 Devotion points.

4 New Cuties

I don’t know why they did not announce adding 4 new Cuties, but I would not worry about them for now.

In short they are 4 identical Cuties (different colors) in that they all have 3 AOE skills and the difference between them is that each of 4 buffs a different stat: PATK, MATK, PDEF and MDEF. Because of that they are very focused / situational, so I would not stress about them for now.
