New Battle Formation

Hey guys, Chinese Wartune just got a new small update which changed the old battle/troop formation. What changes were made?

Disclaimer: We may or may not get some of these features on our servers. If we get some of these features in our western servers, there may be changes to it.

Sylphs Replacing Troops:

Instead of having troops in your battles (PvE and PvP), you can now have sylphs, just like Class Wars. You can have up to 2 sylphs in your formation. They have’t completely removed the troops though. If you are below level 50, you can still have troops. This little feature will cause a lot of competition if we get this but hey, it is better than one short killing troops right?

Three Battle Modes:

As you can see from the image above, there are three panels in this new formation system. You can customize where your sylphs will be positioned and what skills they will use in each panel and then choose which customized formation you want anytime.

Red and Blue Button:

The Red Button is to “Confirm Formation” and the Blue Button is to choose the Sylph Skills.

The bad thing about this new feature is that level 49 and below players would have to face strong level 50s with sylphs as troops but hey, sometimes you gotta move on to explore more features in Wartune. Sooooo….. are we gonna lose the ahm.. bonus the troops give? like the extra matk..? :p … also, does the sylphs as troops give any kind of boost? like adding res? or they just like in guild boss, cw.. etc etc?

  If we get it, it might be more than likely that we will loose the troops stats. Yes the Sylph Troops will be just like CW.

So, you can use up to 5 sylph skills? Only with player, or expedition and arena also? I always feel like handicapped with 3 skills. You can say tactics and so on, but hey, I bought this skills, why not use them all?
Also, 70lvl troops – what happened to them? They are completely useless now.

Troops were next to uselss, now it seems they are totally, unless they bring a new system related to them. The best benefit of them were a live shield and ATK boost, and Daru seems to be next to useless now with in Western WT with the nerfed wild shop.

I still hope/thing that they have some system to utilize the troops in future. Maybe a passive boosts to your stats for all (not only active) troop stats? That would give some use for daru and troop technologies.
